Pie Town Productions' executives were able to access the tape. These executives were infatuated with Tarek & Christina. The deal was signed by the couple with HGTV. Flip of Flop was launched in the month of April 2013. For seven seasons, the show ran from 2013 until 2017. Christina and Tarek bought properties, usually middle-income homes in Orange County. After spending several weeks renovating the house the couple would then sell it for a return.
